What utilities come with rent?

The rent you pay for your Reno apartment at Uncommon includes all the utilities in your new home except electric. Utilities include in rent are water, sewer, trash, cable and internet. Electricity is billed to each unit individually and can be paid online in the Resident Portal. 

Do apartments come furnished?

Of course!  Our vibrant Reno apartments come fully furnished with a kitchen, living room, and a 1:1 bed-to-bath ratio. Many quality features come in our Reno apartments, need a clear picture? See below:

Does the building allow pets?

Unfortunately, our Reno apartments have a no-pet policy.

Of course. To secure a parking spot contact our leasing office.

Is there security?

Yes, we have Uncommonly secure apartments. With surveillance cameras, keyless FOB entry, and video doorbells, there is no shortage of technology safeguarding our community. We also have a 24/7 maintenance/management presence on-site in case of an emergency.

What floor plans are available?

Many floor plans are available for all the residents who choose to live life on the edge and become Uncommon. Whether you want your own personal getaway or to build a community in your world-wide-world, there are plenty of options for you to choose from. The choice is yours, choose your identity below:

What is leasing “by-the-bed”?

At Uncommon Reno leasing by-the-bed refers to a partial freedom from the standard way of doing things. Each individual resident will be responsible for their own personal lease, you will be on a separate lease from the rest of your roommates.

Will I need a cosigner for my lease?

At our Reno student apartments, we do not require residents to get a cosigner for their personal lease. Instead, we take a unique approach, and have each resident get a guarantor to sign a guaranty form.

What is a guarantor?

A guarantor is someone who has made an additional guarantee that the tenant of our Reno apartments will be able to pay rent. While a cosigner is financially bonded for a lease, a guarantor is someone who guarantees that the payment will be made.

How do I apply for an apartment?

Where does my mail go?

Each unit will have a mailbox that will be located on the first floor of the building. Packages that are too large to go in your mailbox will go to our leasing office.

Where do I pay my rent?

For your convenience, all rent payments may be made online through our Resident Portal. In the Resident Portal you can set up reoccurring payments and check your billing and transaction history. 

How do I make a maintenance request?

Maintenance fails, and that’s okay. Just know that maintenance requests can always be handled through our online Resident Portal. Log in, cruise your way through the dashboard and you will see an option to submit a work order form. You will also be able to see the history of past requests that you have made.
